Bramble gets to go wild!
We invited a few of our hoglet members including Joshua who very kindly donated some of his communion money to the Hogsprickle. Joshua loves all animals including wildlife and was delighted to help say goodbye to Bramble, who had been with us for a few months growing fat at our expense.
We took Bramble and another hedgehog, Spike, to the release site and released them with some yummy food nearby. Spike legged it! He was so happy to go off grunting and snuffling to find more food, but Bramble didnt want to go! She is a lazy hedgehog and we had been so careful to not let her get used to people, but after a few minutes she stretched and snuffled off into the wild.
Perhaps Spike and Bramble might meet up with the others and become parents.

Shanna and Ella and their Mum Marie recently came with us to say "Go Wild!" to Benson, Hedges and Killaloe, the little guy who had paralysed front legs. We are happy to report that Killaloe's legs worked just fine after some TLC and Vet care.
All 3 were happily sniffing about and Shanna and Ella were very quiet and watched all 3 as they snuffled and snorted their way through the long grass.
Hedges stopped twice to crunch something he had found and we all tried to guess what he had had for dinner.
