Our New Build - From Shed to Chalet
For nearly 13yrs we have been working form a shed in the garden. Well 2003 started big things, the shed started to leak a wee bit and after moving a storage chest we found that some wildlife that hadn't been invited had made their own "back door".
Day one the fun begins.
Day 2 oh my goodness this might get messy.
Day 3 messy ain't the word!
Day 4 in the Big Hog House
Day 7 and the building work is done! Now a lick of paint and some floral touches is all it needs. The garden already has bulbs coming through and it will be a great place in the summer and through the year to teach the hoglets how to hunt.
This page will be updated as the building matures and the work goes on.
This building is only the beginning of our journey taking our wildlife from Rescue to Rehab.

Wildlife doesn't have owners to spoil them, to provide free health cover, food, a safe environment, so its up to all of us to care for our flora and fauna so that in the future our descendants might know a world with life and colour. There are people saving the Elephants, Clouded Leopards and other animals near the brink of extinction BUT it is also vitally important that we remember that it all begins at home, in your own back yard, hedgerows, roadsides and embankments. When cutting roadsides please leave 30 inches of grass or more if you can. This will help our wildlife have cover and enable the fledglings and other babies travel with their parents learning how to survive in the wild.
